My boyfriend and I are working on one year in December. I am a Singer. He loooves my voice so I figured why not write a song and sing it to him. I'm worried he wont like thee idea. What do you think?

It's romantic. Who wouldn't love a song written about them? You should go for it. If he doesn't appreciate it, it is his loss. :)

I think that sounds very cute and romantic! You said he loves your voice, and I think he will love the idea! Like Ellen said, I would also get him something small and tangible to go along with the song. If I were him though, the song would mean more to me than the tangible gift :P

If it is just to him, then I would just say be careful of the lyrics as you don't want to offend. But if your doing publically or plan on singing it on youtube or something, basically broadcasting the song to anyones ears then I would be very wary of the lyrical content and suggest may be you dedicate it to him but be vague enough so that he knows exactly what your singing about but others will interpret it in their own way and just think, 'Yeah, I really relate to that'.
