yesterday a lovely girl that went to my school die in a car crash her name was OHPELIA SILCOX she was 14, her older sister was driving and she is 15, she doesnt have a licence and their were driving on a dirt road at high speed and hit a tree and ophelia die instantly and her sister walked away with a few cuts.
last night all her friends posted on Facebook for people at my school to wear black socks (we have to wear white socks to school) and to meet under the office for a parade in memory of ophelia, when i got to school with my black socks on i went to the parade under the office and we (all the students) were sent away and we weren't aloud to have the parade.
so i go on Facebook and there are post saying that there will be people protesting against the school for the parade and we sat on the basketball courts until we got the parade, the principle started threatening to suspend any student that participated so we got all of the students that were at school to sit with us.
when the bell went there was about 40-45 students still sitting and then the principle said that if we didn't go to class we could go to P3 (P3 is the "cool down" room) when we got to the "cool down" room in comes the principle and the year level coordinator and said that if we didn't go to class we had to follow him to his office and he would ring our parents to come and get us (he would be suspending us) and then the other school in my town heard about this and groups from maryborough high started walking to my school and were arrested by the cops and the cops surrounded maryborough high so no one could leave
this is to tell yous about what i and my fellow classmates did for a 14 year old girl
i personally didnt know her but i did know friends that were crying all day because she died so u supported them
