I've been using w3schools.com for help on HTML....how reliable is it? I've heard from some people that it's useful, and other people say you shouldn't use it because there are some big mistakes (or something like that)....what do you think?

W3schools is one of the most reliable ones, so you should be fine. Checking if your web page works is quite easy: open it and see if it is the way you want it to be.
