Should I get a new hairstyle?

Hey!

I'm 14. I'm really working to get myself looking better. I guess I've got sort of a bit fed up with my hair. What should I do new?

I'd start by looking at guys around you / online and find styles that you like. Remember that head shape affects whether a style suits - you have a very strong, square face with a masculine jaw, so you could get away with some things that could look feminine on other guys if you wanted really go for something different. On the other hand some of the more sceney looks may not suit you (they tend to look better on guys with more androgynous faces imho).

So I think first off keeping it as short as yours is limits your options a lot. IMHO you need to grow it out a lot to give yourself options. It may be worth having a chat with a hairdresser, but you'll have to convince them you don't want it cut, just ask for some general style advice. A good one should be able to take care of you as you grow it out, but some of them think they have to take inches off or it isn't a haircut.

I kinda like it the way it is atm. But, if I were you, you should let it grow.

Let it grow before you do anything. There isn't a lot you can do with hair as short as yours, unless you want to shave a shape into the side of your head. :P

I think you'd look better with maybe longer hair. And a little less gel.
