I'm pretty pleased.
One thing I found interesting, Massachusetts's vote went to Obama. If the state he governed didn't want him as president, what does that tell you?

A great day for us citizens. A great fucking day for us citizens. You have got to be fucking me. I'm laying here at 12:30 AM thinking what Obama will fuck up next. This isn't good news this is news that says we never recover from recession. We never get out debt. We won't get out anything. This is just fucking great. Just what he'll fuck up now that he doesn't have to worry about another term

Yes, but the House still remains in the hands of the Republicans which will only continue the infighting. That is not good in any way whatsoever. But hey, I guess anyone's whose name is Mitt Romney is going to lose anyway. I mean it was pretty obvious Obama was going to win right?
Uh, yeah no shit.
But do I really care? Nah. Even if I turned 18 this year, I would've either wasted my vote on some person I knew was going to lose or wouldn't have voted at all. I don't care for politics anyway because I see it as a problem in our country. People vote with their eyes and not their ears. But there is a bigger problem. How much bigger of a problem? Well here's a site about this bigger problem:
CLICK HERE FOR ULTIMATE FAIL HURRR (It's the debt) (http://usdebtclock.org/)
You know what that is right? Right? For those that just aren't keeping up that is (to quote a great man) “our nation distilled into numbers” and it's not going anywhere until someone can deal with it. I'm disappointed by everything that was on the ballot this year. But couldn't have and wouldn't have given my blessing to any of these fake wannabe douchebags anyway. Fuck our country.
And if you say I'm part of the problem, I'll agree and disagree with you. I believe that everyone is part of the problem, be you a five year old or a seventy year old. I despise most of the people that make up this country spewing their bullshit to the each other. Anyway I'm 'bout to head on down to the school house to listen to my pathetic class mate bitch and moan...
So here is to another four years of surprise and change. *cough*failure*cough*.

Same sex marriage was voted legal BY THE PEOPLE in Maine and Maryland. I'm so happy that people of the US are starting to stand up for equal rights and not homophobic bigotry and ignorance like a certain political party does.

So pleased for the US, a Romney presidency would have been disastrous both economically and socially. Thank God for the Republicans' demographic being too small to win!

I find it funny that you think all republicans are anti LGBT, and the fact that those issues are the only things that matter on a presidents agenda.

Yeah...yeah I know.
I have to disagree with you about the part you said about this being a great day for U.S. citizens, more like on of the worst days in our contries history, I have a feeling that this might be the beginning of a huge disater for the U.S. economy, we're fucked :(

Yes I realize that. But at the time this thread was made, Obama had 275 EV's and won.

Still not surprised. I think everyone will just learn to live through the next four years much like they did the last four years. Nothing major is going to change. I still stand by what I said a few days ago. Don't start whining when the Patriot Act, the NDAA, and unsolicited drone strikes on innocent civilians are continued under this administration.

NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO.
no.
The chance of him dying paired with that woman being next in line is why it was absolutely not worth it. I'm happy I hadn't been across the pond for that election, because if he won...
If he won.
That woman scares the hell out of me.

Yes, I agree Sarah Palin is kind of dumb. But what makes me mad it that everybody blames Congress for their problems. You know, like lawmakers going nowhere because of the Rep. not budging. If you stupid @&&E$ woud've voted for a Republican then something would have been done about nothing happening in washington. I dont know how you Liberals see if getting helped out by the government will help the economy. That money the govt. will waste will have to come from someone. That someone will be the succesful people that own American business. If they have to give up their money, than the business will more than likely be sold to a foreign company. Is that the kind of America we want, to be owned by someone else. Oh wait we all ready do, China. Its kind of like foreclosure. When you cant pay off your debt to the bank, then they will take your home away. We have a debt to China, dont you think that History Repeats Itself...
What really pisses me off is that people vote for Democrats because they want gay rights. There are really really serious problems in the nation, and all they are worried about is rights !
Not all Republicans are homophobic, I am bi and dont think that gay rights should be a deciding factor in presidential elections.
Until Obama is impeached, Joe Biden has an anger attack in office, and finally Boener becomes President...
I hope you all suffer from Obamacare's fine print! Or when we become New China! Or we become the New United States of Mexico! Dont say I didnt warn you...
