So, my voice is breaking at the moment and it goes squeaky quite often, and people are starting to notice it more often now, it's really embarrassing when is cracks and someone says something :)
Any advice on what to do when this happens?

As if in other any other embarrassing situation, pretend that nothing happened and continue what you were doing.

Well there isn't really anything you could do, this happens to everyone at some point when their voice is breaking/cracking. I know it's embarassing, this even happens to me occasionally, but you just have to put up with it. Life has it's embarassing moments, but you just have to deal with it.

sounds dumb but trying clearing your throat to sort of kind the cracks.

well there isnt a whole lot you can do... just ignore the comments, and keep using your voice as normal. it will finish changing when it is ready. overusing it wont help, and neither will forcing it to be deep, but you still need to use it, just being quiet wont help because you need to exercise your vocal chords.

I would just pretend it didn't happen. I don't see why it's so embarrassing though. Me and my friends joke about our voice cracks all the time.

This is happening to me right now! I just pretend it never happened and move on. You're right, it is embarrassing but our voices will soon be deeper.

It is a natural part of life, it happens to most males (if not all), as some others may have said before me, act ad if it did t happen. If they make fun of you for it. Then so be it. Most of the time thru do it because they are insecure about them selves. Also keep in mind it is part of puberty, and there isn't much you can do about it. Just be proud that your reaching more into manhood by having your voice starting to change.

Dude, I crack at least 5 times a week. Just go with it. If someone says, " Ha, you're going through puberty!" Just reply no I'm becoming more mature than you.

You can't stop your voice from cracking, that's just a part of growing up.
To make it less embarrassing though its often good to joke about it before everyone else does, because then you can know you are laughing WITH everyone rather then feel as if you are being laughed at BY everyone. Keep in mind if someone points it out that it does really happen to everyone, so there will be plenty of occasions where others are getting made fun of for the same reason. Its not just you by a long shot.

sorry man, voice breaking is a natural thing. it's gonna happen, and there isn't MUCH to prevent it. but if you're with your friends and your voice breaks, just go with it, pretend it didn't happen. or laugh along with them. yeah it's kinda embarrassing, but bud, everyone goes through it.
