:whoops:
Have you ever experienced a mom (or it could be an older sister) who brought her little boy (or baby bro) through the ladies' locker room at a fitness center, public pool or water park?
Did it make you uncomfortable?
I ask because some friends said they were surprised that my dad & older brother took me with into the guys' locker rooms with them when I was young.
Did you go with an older male relative in their locker room when you were young?
Do you think the rules are different for the diff genders respectively (age limits, etc.) ?
I am interested in your general thoughts.

Yeah, it makes me really uncomfortable to see little boys in the female locker room. I mean, I know it's not supposed to be a big deal because they're just little kids and need their mothers (or sisters) with them but still... it's an irrational thing I guess, wanting to keep the female bathroom female.
(The above doesn't apply to trans* women though. Just people who identify as male)

And I think the rules, whatever they are, should be the same for both genders. If one is allowed, the other should be okay too.

I have, but I've never been fully naked in one either. I just don't like being naked, full stop.

But little boys in bathrooms and change rooms don't bother me. I'm talking LITTLE boys. Where else can the mother take him? The men's room? Unsupervised? They don't have raging teenage hormones yet. They aren't getting off on it. They might be curious if they see something that doesn't look like him, but he's not going to abuse it, and oogle you, and masturbate later. He's just a kid. The mothers from my experience do a good job of 'being there to get changed, not to look' or whatever. Of course, there is an unspoken age limit. As soon as the boy starts getting 'curious' about girls is when you need to stop, and that age is different for all boys, and it always comes before you expect it. He could be like 8 and looking up boobs in magazines. :whoops:

Couldn't have said this ANY better.

Depends on the age for my comfort level.

If they're small, sure. The kid's probably more interested in the benches and how he can become a train and slide on them.

This one time though, a mom brought in her kid that was way more than old enough to not be there. Thinking like 8 or 10? Way too old. We all stared at her hoping she'd leave and the kid's looking around. He got slapped by one girl who was changing out of her swim suit. She'd made a towel tent to hide herself them in her locker, the kid lifted the towel to stick his head in and well, he got slapped.
