If you want the cheapest car for the most fun I would go for the Chevy 1500. Those trucks can get you to hell and back, or take you on a nice cruise down the road. They are the jack of all trades.
But, no matter which you plan on buying make sure to do your research, like what to look for that automaticallies makes it a no deal. Such as leaks of anykind, transmission slipping, engine making funny noises, etc... all those things can be fixed and it could be a cheap fix, but I wouldnt take that chance. My second truck had a oil leak and transmission slickage and it ended up costing me $4000 to fix it all. So learn from my mistakes and buy something reliable.

You really can't go wrong with a Camry, and Chevy trucks are pretty bulletproof as well.

I know theyre newer and nicer but im on a very tight budget and the cheapest current design impala is like 9 grand with 200,000 plus miles on it. im only spending 3 grand. but thanks for the input, friend :)

Go with the Chevy truck, I have a '94 Silverado K1500, no major work, starts up every time. I also have 182,000 on it.

They must hold their value better where you are. They're a little cheaper than that here. Granted not 3K cheap, unless maybe you buy a retired police 9C1 version.

Why would a retired police impala be cheaper? Sorry I never thought of that...

Because sometimes they have higher miles and most people don't want a retired police car. But the good news is the majority of departments have strict maintenance programs so they're usually serviced quite well.

Out of your options Camry, Corolla, or Chevy truck cant go wrong with either of them just check them out see if you like them
Grand Prix really isnt that bad, I would only advise against the chevy sedans
