I am confused when someone says i am hookin up with a girl do you mean making out or haveing sex.

It could mean either. It just getting together. It could even be like just hanging out.

Ya it might mean either depending on the age of the person saying it. Someone 13-15 generally says it in the context of making out but an older teen 16-19 will more frequently say it in the context of having sex from my experience.

Yeah, hooking up definitely means sex...but I think it gets used for other things...especially by younger guys..

I used to think hooking up meant sex, but for just about ALL of the people I've ever met (And I've moved around a lot in the USA) it means making out and sometimes 2nd base (feeling).
