You get +1 rep power every 50 rep pts, every 6 months since you joined, and every 1000 posts.

Ok, just to double check... Do you have to wait six months AND get 1k posts or just do either one?

You can get either one at any time. For example if you reached 1000 posts on the day of your 6 month anniversary you would gain 2 rep power. I think.

I think what she's saying is, after you've been a member for 6 months, your rep power will be +1, for example, your rep power would go from a 2 to a 3, same thing for the 1,000 posts.

Also, for each 50 points you get, your rep will go up by 1. For example, if someone with a rep power of 50, positive repped you, then your rep points would go from 100 to 150, therefore your rep power would go from 2 to 3.

This is the best I can explain it, I hope i've helped :)
