Well, this mourning in wrestling I pulled one of my traps really badly, and right now I'm actually half doped up on muscle relaxer. I'm going to PT tommarow, does anyone know what I'm probably going to do?

Depends what you've done. You may get some manipulation (massage therapy), exercises to do after etc. Its really important to do any exercises that they give you, apparently this is where a lot of people lose the benefit of physio treatment. This covers the majority of sporting injuries.

There's obviously a chance that if its really bad you could get referred for scans or to specialists or whatever, worst case it could mean surgery to correct a problem, but there's a lot of 'ifs' before that happens.

Alright, thank you.

No probs. I hope its a minor thing. I've known people who sometimes have been in massive pain and then come back from physio almost 100% pain free (where muscles have just gone into spasm (cramps) around an injury and needed manipulating to relax).

Yeah. The muscle relaxer has stopped the spasms for the most part, so I'm hoping it stays like that.
