I'm done... burglaries have been going around my street. People being hold by gun point. I'm scared. I'm scared. I'm scared on what is going to happen to everyone when December comes. Is everyone gonna go insane. Maybe total anarchy is gonna happen. I'm done and I need a weapon like a blade. I'm done with ignorant humans. One thing that gets me is that I have become the dad in my house hold. And I can hardly do anything. I'm done. all I wanted was to live a good life but people close to me always get hurt. what if my house is next. I'm done...

Being in a high risk area of burglary and crime is scary, but if you take simple steps to avoid being burgled in the firtst place, it can really help:


1) Keep all doors and windows locked.-Even a back door should be kept locked to prevent a crook from getting in or back out.
2) Keep all valuable items out of view of the windows- If it can be seen from the outside it's a risk.
3) Keep your keys hidden.- If they can see your keys they can find a way of getting them.
4) If your going out when it's dark and there isn't anybody in the flat/house or whatever. Leave a light on.
5) If you have some sort of alarm system, make sure you understand how to use it and it is active.

Something we have even though there isn't much crime in our area is a little sign up saying force will be used againt intruders. -Another little preventative measure.


I understand the fear you must have in being next as you say you have the added pressure of being a father figure, so in that case if the worst happens keep children out the way and think on your feet.


Finally, if there are children make sure they understand not to open the door to strangers. If there is so much crime I take it the police would probably be monitoring the area slightly more carefully, so that could be some comfort to you.

yeah my family is thinking about moving to the states to be honest I don't want to leave. but yeah thank you I'll keep all of this to mind. thanks mate
