I don't plan on comin out till my senior year of hs or after when im gonna begin college. (Hope i don't chicken out then). I was just wonderin what questions should i expect to hear from people when i tell them. Mostly from like friends or people i don't know to well or just met to get it out of the way. I hope parents don't ask any questions, can you give me possible questions parents might ask? Thanks everyone I appreciate it!

"How long have you felt this way ? " "why ?"
"Would you marry a guy?" Basic stuff.

'Are you sure?' was about the only thing I was asked. A few asked if I was already seeing a guy. Nobody was that inquisitive when I came out but I'm only out to a select few

"Are you sure?"
"Why do you think that?"
"Have you ever been with (insert acceptable gender here)? How do you know if you haven't?"
Silly things, mainly. Some might be a bit more serious, just try and answer the best you see fit, but don't let anyone sway you into giving answers you think they want to hear.

The one I remember getting asked was "So why did you choose to be gay?" You can imagine that person had a bit of a correction coming to them :P Other than that, the one I've heard the most is "Are you sure?"

I have been out for several years now and I didn't get many questions from people. The only question I ever remember is "Seriously? You are gay?" Only because I suppose I'm not like the stereotypical gay guy and I could more than pass as straight. Other than that, no questions really.
However, if you do, I'm sure they would be silly questions like "How long have you known?" and things like that. In this day in age, it's extremely common to be gay and not many people really question you when you come out... unless they are just being inquisitive about certain aspects of it.

the only question i can remember is "do you any feelings for anyone in school?" and sometimes when they ask those questions its better to lie. say no but other than that everyone is just trying to get you to contradict yourself.

usually these days parents don't ask questions in fear of scaring them, but to be honest yes questions will happen as I discovered, what to expect hmm, well:
"are you sure?"
"how long have you felt like this?"
"have you ever had a boy/girlfriend?"
"does anyone else know?"
apart from those questions you are probably safe, just answer truthfully and your in the clear, and try to educate your parents if necessary I mean your still important to them afterall.

Well, I wouldn't know, because my parent's were just like "I kinda already knew that, Patrick, but that's fine!"
Actually... Well, I guess if you're bisexual, I was asked "Are you sure it's not just a phase?", so you may be asked that, even if you're not bisexual.
Am I really that flamboyant? :\
