I've realized how stupid I am. I have such an accepting community and family when it comes to homosexuality, yet I still won't tell anyone I'm gay... I'm sure most people already know because my ex-boyfriend decided it was his place to tell everyone but this seriously is annoying. I want to come out but for all the wrong reasons, in my mind atleast.

Take things as you are comfortable with them, don't be pressured into making any announcements. When you are ready, at least you know you're not going to be disowned or anything! :)

Dude im too afraid to come out even though my high school and faily are very acceptant of gays. Same situation except i dont think anyone even has a hunch that I'm gay.

It's ok if you feel like you're not ready to tell people yet. It's a hard thing to do, coming out, and you need to take it at your own pace. Do it when you want to, not when you feel like you have to or need to. There is nothing wrong with waiting to come out, even in an accepting community. You have to do what's best for you, and if you don't feel like you're ready yet, then there's nothing wrong with waiting. You have no need to rush into it. Just take things at your own pace and come out when you feel like you're ready to. We're all here to support you too!
