I used to feel awkward to be shirtless, esp if I feel the other guys have a better bod. But when I started going to the beech with friends, it began to feel less and less awkward. I think it wil always feel awkward to be naked but prob gets easier.

Nope, I was shy before I got my abs/six-pack. If you are shy because of that, you should start to work-out, it gave me a lot of confidence when I started to see results.

I don't feel awkward shirtless, so long as there's an obvious reason for it. (changing room, beach, hot summer day etc.) I'm also fine if I'm a minority in being shirtless. I have a nice torso and I don't mind showing it off. Even if I'm not showing off, I have nothing to be embarrased about.
As for naked, I'm fine so long as there's an obvious reason (shower, changing room), but I don't wanna be the only naked person there.

Yep, to this day I still feel extremely awkward and anxious when topless around anyone else regardless of who it might be I.E boyfriend/girlfriend etc being naked around anyone is just something I dread to think about.

Having low self esteem and confidence I suppose is why I feel that way plus I've not exactly got abs and such whereas everyone else I know does so heh makes the situation worse.
