Hi, I am 13 years old and I have a bit of fat on me. I am developing larger nipples and gaining more weight. I play 3 sports and do not eat candy alot. Can some one please tell me why this is happening?

Well are you gaining weight in muscle or still in fat? Getting taller? How much weight are we talking about? If you are playing three sports and still gaining fat, you probably need to change your diet. Healthy food = healthier weight. You may also just be consuming more calories than you should be, in that case again need to check your diet and then count calories. A doctor can give you a much better answer than anyone on here can, I'd schedule an appointment with one if I were you.

I have been working out in the gym so muscle is a possible answer. I am getting taller. I weigh 120, 5.5 feet tall. I will start counting my daily calories to maintain a healthy diet.

Muscle weighs more than fat, and every inch you grow you are supposed to gain 6 pounds, so its no surprise there that you are gaining weight. If you feel you are a bit overweight or want to lose more do as I suggested earlier. There will not be instant results, but after a few weeks you will see a difference.

Maybe gyno or you just simple have a little bit of fat who knows.

I doubt it is muscle but it could be, try cutting your bf% down a little and it will be fine.

Even if it doesn't go away easily a lot of teens get this problem and then it subsides by 18 or 19 years old.

Well, its just because you are in puberty. Most guys gain weight in the early stages of puberty, so its normal to gain some weight at that age. Once you start growing, you will start thinning out.

I weigh 125 lbs, and I am 5'6". This is almost exactly in the middle of the BMI scale, which is the perfect weight. You are very close to my weight and height, which means you are perfectly healthy, and any significant weight loss would classity you as underweight. If you are still unsure, Google "bmi calculator".
