What pair of headphones should I get to replace my Skullcandy Lowriders?
Do not suggest anything over $50.00 please.

MEElectronics HT-21 or Panasonic RP HTX7.

From the same link above, I would highly suggest the Audio Technica ATH-M30s. I have a pair and love them.
I know on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATHM30-ATH-M30-Professional-Headphones/dp/B00007E7C8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1351635264&sr=8-1&keywords=audio+technica+ath-m30) they're $37.65. You can try and find them cheaper, but I settled for this price tag when I bought them.

Would you say these would be comfortable to wear for long periods of time?
Also, how is the bass? I love dubstep and I need decent bass.

They've got good bass, and are very comfortable.

Are you looking for the over the ears type or the ear plugs?
Sennheiser is a great brand since I listen to dubstep too.
As for Skullcandy, you're paying for the brand name like with Bose. It's good but on the pricy end.

I just might get these but I still have to Google them and do a little more research.
Also, I'm looking for on ear or over ear headphones. On ear are preferred.

If you're looking for base look at the numbers like if it says 14hz-30khz
You want that first number to be low for base and the second to be as high as possible for highs.
For example I'd love that 8hz-25khz on the top of the list, but expensive

They're very high quality, excellent at picking out sounds you might not normally hear through less expensive headphones. You'll be getting a very good deal with these. The only reason I would say don't buy these is if you are planning on using them as headphones you'll walk around with and wear in public. The cord is eleven feet long and gets to be a hassle to keep track of when moving.

SONY XB500s :D
They are super comfortable, lots of padding... but your ears will get warm after a while.
I'm a dubstep fan too, these had really nice and crisp bass.

The xb500's are awesome. They are just amazing. It's too bad they are hard to find. I have a pair, and my two friends have them. The only problem is that anyone in the room can hear your music. They leak a lot.

Honestly, the new apple ear pods I find are pretty good. I have beats (The tour in-ear ones) that I think sound just the same, but 5x the price.
