What are pubes? Are they public hair?

Yea pubes is just a short term for saying pubic hair. Why say somethiing that long when you can just say pubes.

yeah its just another slang term people have started using. It refers to the pubic hair men have around the penis in the 'pubic area'

My gosh why does everyone (including me) get pubic confused with public. Yeh PUBE is short for pubic hair. NOT PUBLIC
