I see all these posts and threads about trying to stop... What's wrong with me that I don't want to?

There's nothing wrong with you, I was in the same position 2 or 3 years ago. Or maybe even more recently. You don't wanna stop cause it's comforting and you see nothing wrong with it. It's not abnormal actually.

The people who wanna stop came to that conclusion themselves, and that's really the only way to do it. I can write you the perfect novel on why it's a bad thing and why you shouldn't do it, but unless you wanna stop, you wanna stop, you know?

Nothing's wrong with you. I don't particularly want to stop either. We know intellectually that it's not good, but it feels like home to us. It gives us comfort. It's pretty common, really.
