Bf3>cod. But cod is still a good game. I personally think black ops 2 is gonna suck. So I'm getting Medal of Honor Warfighter

I buy CoD only because it's a Treyarch game and it includes zombies.

I'm not even gonna play the multiplayer (Hell it has its own wallhack; see "Attachments") and I'm gonna play singleplayer only because I'm curious about Reznov, Woods and Mason.

Black Ops 2 looks really good, it's the first COD i've been excited about since COD4.

Medal of Honor Warfighter is one of the worst games I have ever played. It is literally the only game I have ever regretted spending $60 on.

It doesn't look great. It doesn't even look good. Its the same goddamn formula COD uses for every game trailer. They put in all these epic clips that they say is real gameplay footage and make people believe they will spend all day doing 540 no scopes out of a helicopter that is on fire and crashing into a burning building and then landing in a jet and blowing up Russia. Its total bullshit. None of that stuff ever happens in COD. Theres no vehicles, the graphics between Treyarch and Activision have been the same for the last 4 years, and every time you play online its just 12 year olds screaming their heads off or some guy that thinks hes an awesome DJ playing shitty music. COD4 was cool because it was original, everything else has just gone downhill since. Now it like weird robots and stuff. It looks like an arcade game.
Sorry for the rant but these games aren't as great as everyone thinks they are, its the same thing albeit with new maps and gadgets every year.

Edit: Haha whoever neg repped me is a bit crossed. "Stop ranting this isn't a debate" - yea I know that why I am not debating anything, I'm expressing my opinion on the game like the OP asked for. Sounds like someone was a bit butthurt from me insulting COD.

I dont concur. MW3 is so far the only game i regret buying. I sold it on craigslist. Warfighter is probably one of the best shooters since the 2nd Modern Warfare I do think.

While I am looking forward to the new COD. I must say I am do agree with IAMWILL on what he said. He makes a lot of good points. I mean the graphics are the same so its kinda feels the same and the only thing different is the features.

I am looking forward for things like Nazi Zombies and Create a Class 2.0.

And if it isn't any good then I'll move to Assassins Creed 3 for full time stealth action assassinations. However I won't be getting that for another month at least simply because usually the AC series has always had teething problems for the first 2 or so months.

People bringing up the graphics is just stupid. You're still paying for the same netcode, a few reskinned weapons, and multiplayer killstreaks. I just preordered yesterday on Steam for the Nuketown map and the other goodies it comes with. I love Treyarch, always have, but I just hope they don't turn the way of Infinity Ward.

i think it looks bad. i hate what COD represents as a game series. its the megaman of the 2010's.
im not going to get it. ever.

i think i am going to get halo 4 instead because BO2 is a $50 expansion pack. same game engine for 6 years. i would probably get it if it was a new game engine. it is time for call of duty to come to the truth and make a true new game not a expansion pack. also looking forward to GTA 5 and Fallout 4 (hopefully)

No it's not. Megaman might've had a lot of sequels but they certainly didn't run on the same engine and were essentially the same game reskinned.

well, they are. aleast early on. there were 6 megaman games on the NES that all ran off of the same engine that were essentially the same game reskined. there are the 4 megaman zero games for the gameboy advance that do the same, another 5 on the original gameboy and the battle network series on the gameboy. it represents mediocrity in the gaming industry

Exactly how do you expect a sequel to be? People who buy a sequel expect something different, but in the same style. That's like saying all Sonic games are rehashes because you go to the left and run or Mario just jumps over stuff which is an over-sweeping generalization. You're saying a sequel should be a whole new IP.
Also there was the Mega man Legends series not to mention Mega man X which I think broke the mold from being considered a "reskin"(although I'd say there's a difference; Activison is just doing it because they're afraid change will affect sales while Capcom worked with what they had)

Which are hard to point out. Key word: SLIGHT.

that's true. look at games like halo, the legend of zelda and final fantasy. those games have tons of sequels, and there are large differences between most of them. that is my point. games like megaman and call of duty release heaps of sequels in a short period of time without really changing anything. my point is, yes the core game play should stay the same, thats what the fans want. but dont release a game that is pretty much the same game, with maybe a few little graphical changes here, and a few new weapons/upgrades there. that is what megaman and COD are guilty of. same with mario as of late, with thier same super mario bros 2. sonic not as much, but yes to an extent. and yes with megaman there are side games every now and then, but i'm more so referring to the main series a bit. you're right about activision being afraid of change, but capcom were simply being lazy, by simply releasing a game, they know fans will buy, just because it is a megaman game.
