Holy fuck. If you can actually get that for £360 then it's insane. A few suggestions:

1. Quad core i7 is unnecessary for most people. Unless you're doing a lot of incredibly intense work, high quality video/photo editing & rendering, creating software/games etc. then you'll never need that. Quad i5 or even dual i5 is all you'll ever need for pretty high standard gaming.

2. Might as well get 16gb RAM. It's super cheap and with such a decent rig otherwise you probably should in case you upgrade in the future.

3. PSU - chances are that your power supply will do fine, but you can upgrade to a 400/450 for like £30 and it gives you a lot of breathing room with this build but also lets you add additional video cards later.

Also don't forget the $15 upgrade to Windows 8 (unless you are building this yourself from parts, then you might as well buy the OEM version of Windows 8) to properly take advantage of the extra cores / threads and performance that the i7 can offer, as well as getting the faster boot times without the hassle of an SSD. (or less wear and tear if you decide to get an SSD anyways).

Overall, not bad. You could get an extra GPU if you are looking for the best gaming performance, but other than that, not bad.

Quad i5 or even dual i5 is all you'll ever need for pretty high standard gaming.

They don't make dual-core i5's for the desktop anymore. The i3 is the replacement for those. There are mobile dual-core i5's, like I have, but it's really a slower i3.

Chances are you don't be needing more than the i3. What do you do on the computer? I have the i5-2430m, which is literally a 2.4GHz variant of the i3-2100 (3.1GHz). It does all of the tasks I need it to do (games, which are more GPU intensive actually, photoshopping, video rendering, running a couple of virtual machines, watching movies, Skyping, web browsing, and more...usually at once). It does slow down a bit when I'm running the virtual machines though, but that's because it's just a hyperthreaded dual-core, not a quad. Use the money you saved from not getting the i7 into something else, like a better graphics card.

16GB of ram is overkill, but if you have money to burn then be my guest.

Is this all a bundle or something you configured yourself?

@Giles: I will be rendering videos (I got the second hard drive so that I could store all the videos/AE files/ Premiere Files/Anything else I needed) But a bigger power supply sounds good

@Axw_JD: Ha, No way am I upgrading to windows 8. I don't even know how that OS got past testing. Its quite a good OS for tablets, but defiantly not for computers. I might of got it if they kept the start bar.

@Rogue: I configured this my self on PCSpecialist. It might not be as cheep as buying all the parts my self, But a) I dont want to build it my self, just in case I break one of the pins on the processor/get something wrong b) There's a warranty c) Free delivery to the UK d) its ALOT cheaper than buying off a high street shop like PC World.

I really desperately needed this, The laptop I'm using now can run Facebook at 3 fps!
