Lump?

I have found 2 lumps on my "lips" (outer) on my vagina and they are right next to eachother and the one on top is about 3/4 the size of a pea and the other is a little small.... I am kinda worried about this... and I don't talk o my mother about this kinda stuff cuz we just dont talk about that stuff and my sister we talk but i am not sure this is normal.... :?
Not to sound stupid.. but could this possible be a ingrown hair?

hmm...how long have you had them? ....and where exactly are they? ....are they where hair grows? ....if so, then yes they could be ingrown hairs...do you shave/wax or w/e at all? cos that would also increase your chance of getting ingrown hairs....however, if its nearly the size of a pea then it sounds as though it might be infected....do they hurt at all?

i usually dont get them and if i do they turn out as ingrown hairs b/c i do shave .... but this one has ben here for 3 days.. and hasnt turned nto a ingrown hair.. its not really like two separate ones its like a whole one but its got smaller since yesterday so maybe its a ingrown hair...

the symptons of an ingrown hair can change..... its most likely that it is an ingrown hair ....but if youre still really worried, then you could maybe just go to your doctor put your mind at ease :wink:
If you wanted to...you could try pressing a hot facecloth agianst them a few times a day, its supposed to help soften your skin and allow the hairs to grow through nicely.. :D

As for ingrown hairs...there are a few things you can do to minimize the risk of getting them...
You should always try and wash your skin before shaving....and if you can, exfoliate...
Try to shave in the same direction each time..
Also try to use a shaving cream or foam when you do...
And try to shave in the direction of the hair growth...not against the grain....
Finally if you can, try to put a cream on the area that youve shaved...there are alot of creams especially for after shaving....and there are also ones for ingrown hairs....possibly something with tea tree oil or something else which has anti septic properties...if you know what i mean :? ...anything that wont block your pores but will keep the area moisturised...
