So, today was my 2nd day of public high school and I finally decided to get some guts and sit at a table with some girls who were really pretty. I started making small talk and made the girls laugh a lot, then one of them said I should meet there friend grace, who's looking for a guy. I said "ok..." (I'm really awkward and kinda shy) and then I started to talk to this girl in Russian (she knew Russian) and she seemed like she liked that I could speak Russian... Then another girl at the table took a pic of me (the flash was on by accident) and then we all started laughing when it happened because I didn't know they were going to take a pic. I asked the girl I was talking to in Russian for her number and she gave it to me so I texted her but she never texted me back and now I feel stupid bexau I feel like they were really just making fun of me because I'm awkward but Idk. Do you guys think it should be fine if I want to sit next to them at lunch?

aww i'm sorry, that's a suckish situation you got there :\ but i think you should get the guts to sit with them again :) ur probably awesome and i think you'd be able to tell if they were just making fun of you. (like irritating whispers, grimaces, strange looks, etc ^^) i'm a girl, and well, many of us like attention lol, especially the ones you seem to be talking about. The Grace chick, maybe she doesn't check her phone often, or had no battery, no credit, etc ^^ doesn't mean she was all "oh ew, it's that guy. I ain't gonna text him back even though he was really funny and could speak Russian like me and was all nice and stuff." haha, exaggerating but best of luck! stick with it until you get a signal that either you or they aren't going to get along! <3

I am not an expert, but when it comes to girls my hat is off to ya (you are more confident then me)! Just keep it slow, when you haste it, it gets messy, that is what I learned from my experience.
