Just a random question thingy. Which First Lady is your favorite?
My favorite is:

Jacqueline Kennedy, because she was beautiful, stylish, she pretty much decorated the White House we know today, and because she hung tough even in dark times.

Since this is asking a question and could possibly turn into a debate, I shall move this to ROTW.

Yeah, yeah. I know it's probably cliched to say Eleanor Roosevelt, but the woman was incredibly strong and she did so much. She completely innovated and changed the role of the First Lady, just as much as her husband did with the Presidency. The thing about her that gets to me the most, though, is in a way I can relate to her pain. She loved her husband, she really did. But, well, he didn't love her like she loved him. FDR had a couple of affairs, and the longest one he had she found out about. When she confronted him, she asked him if he wanted a divorce so he could be with the woman he loved. It hurt her so deeply on the inside. They remained married, but their relationship would never be repaired. In fact, when FDR died, his mistress was there with him. Imagining that hurt that she felt, comparing it to the hurt I've had in my life, well, I can relate to her in that way. She was an amazing woman, and I don't know how she did it...

Nancy Reagan is certainly my favorite. Though many people think all she did was the Just Say No campaign, she actually had a lot of influence. She helped raise awareness to breast cancer, renovated the White House, and actually helped guide Ronald during tougher moments in his presidency. A true all around First Lady next to Jacqueline Kennedy and Hilary Clinton.

Well, since Eleanor Roosevelt was taken, I will have to say Michelle Obama. She has done a lot to try to influence kids to become active and I think that she's very well known. So yeah, and this is her if you didn't already know:

Well I'm going to lack uniqueness and go for Michelle Obama! She has been working towards a much healthier America these past four years.

She too had an affair actually, and it was with a woman! She had a lesbian lover who was a journalist -- they sent a numerous love letters to each other talking about their love.

I also think that she is doing a lot to influence kids. Sometimes it can be annoying but overall it's beneficial.
