Would I not be a good idea to have a forum for countries, so that if anyone has any questions about a country or place that they can ask them questions? Because the users on here seem to be from different parts of the world and it would be nice to get an insight into others countries from their views... if that makes sense...

I have looked to see if there js anything already on Herbert I can't seem to find anything...

As Robert said we have TWPR for anything along those lines. It's been suggested before and considered before but I really don't see that being an active section. How many topics can you really cover before something like that dies out? We don't really need it and it doesn't pertain to the site's mission -- this is primarily a help site after all.

Anyways...yeah, TWPR is the best place for those threads and there aren't a huge amount of threads about it anyways so I don't see a big point to it either.

I disagree. Go look at GovTeen's World cultures section, it's pretty active and the topics haven't quite died yet...

Not really. The GovTeen network itself is pretty much dead, with only a few active sites (VT and GT being two of them). If you look at the main network page at govteen.org you'll see it hasn't been updated since around the Precambrian era.

Now about adding a countries section, I believe it would be slightly beneficial considering it is such a widely different branch than TWPR. Maybe we could settle for another section in General Discussions? It's up to Mike at this point, and I think he's already made his decision clear a couple posts above me.

Virtual Teen was created out of GovTeen to be a forum for those struggling mentally (hence the Psych Ward, the original name).

However, we grew into our own site mostly when Sam Alexander - the man who originally funded Govteen, VT, Puberty101.com & others - died. Now, we have more active members than GovTeen, so we are pretty much top dawg right now. Yea.

As for the countries idea, I think it could be a really good diary. Apply for one, set it up, and see how it goes.

I like the sound of that. If it works out well as a diary then I think it would be a lot more likely to be added.
