Lately I've become really bored with the music I've been listening to and I've noticed that I haven't really found any new bands or groups lately in the hardcore or post-hardcore genre(s). It's all been in rap, and frankly, rap gets bland and boring after a while. So in this thread, you can suggest songs or bands that some people haven't heard of, to all of us who listen to hardcore music.

I'll start with a couple bands.

First off is The Fall of Troy, which if you've played Guitar Hero III, you've probably heard their single "F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X.", but if you haven't, here's the link to that song and a couple others.

F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X. - The Fall of Troy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_spVxhWEQWc)

Act One, Scene One - The Fall of Troy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqvh_XHFrqw&feature=related)

Mouths Like Sidewinder Missles - The Fall of Troy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWSDAZ6GDXY&feature=related)

Second is August Burns Red, which is probably a more known band than the Fall Of Troy, but definitely worth mentioning. This band makes me want to go out and just get shit done. (I bmx, and this band just makes me want to ride my ass off.) Here are a couple songs.

Composure - August Burns Red (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYJapikPVCM)

Marianas Trench - August Burns Red (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07PBxKbzSFE)

All suggestions are welcome, as long as they're in the hardcore/post-hardcore genres! Suggest away.

My suggestion is, try listening to some metalcore bands aswell. As it's the same kind of singing with a heavier sound and a ton more drops.

Bands like Memphis May Fire (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oPi_ifScn0w) and Woe, Is Me (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NA7zcryP2es).
