I play jv boys soccer. Corner kick came in and was kicked up the field, I ended up getting a wrong footing and colapesed on my ankle. I had 2 get benched for the rest of the game because of the pain of walking. Our soccer trainer said I sprained the muscle from my Achilles to the base of my toes, going on to state that it would hurt to the point I couldn't walk before I hurt anything. The next day, I ran a zombie obstical 5k. 2 weeks later, I still don't have full range of motion with it, but running doesn't hurt anymore. Advise anyone because I'd like my foot back :whoops:

Running was not a good idea. Putting excess strain on a sprain will prolong the healing process. My dad sprained his ankle a few months ago, and because he was so stubborn and wouldn't rest it, it took him a few months to recover.

Keep it elevated as much as possible. I advise sleeping with a pillow or two under it. Ice 20 min on 20 min off as much as possible. Don't pur any more strain on it! Take a break from running and extensive sports and give your body the chance to heal. These things take time.

Your family physician may have more advise on the healing process. Good luck!
