Ok, I made a post about this friend a while back. Anyways, long story short. I have this friend, who I have been friends with for many years, over the last three years, our friendship basically faded away. That was mainly due to my friend. I just got fed up with stuff that was said and done over time. She got where she went in what I call "cycles" with her friends, and then she got where she just used me for my stuff. Well, we quit hanging out even though we live by each other, and we kinda quit talking. I mean, we would talk at the bus stop, but that was basically it. Well, about two weeks ago, I was walking up the neighborhood, and she and her sister was there. We stop and talked for a long time, we even walked around the neighborhood talking. It felt good to actually kinda hang out and talk with her, because I miss the old days of always hanging out with each other. She is graduating this year, and from what she told me, she is moving up north to start her modeling career. Its just, I dont know if I should make it an effort again to actually try and make up our friendship, or just let it go. I just didn't want to just go through her "cycles" which is what happened in the past. The thing is, she is graduating, and most likely moving off, and I wouldn't mind hanging out with each other while we can. I mean, I really miss the old times, but I just don't know whether I should risk it or not.

I think you should go for it ^^ you like to talk and hang out with her right? especially since she was an old friend. You don't necessarily have to be like "Lets be close bffs" or anything, you can start it off as light friends. then maybe she'll also want the old days back and yea...i think it's good to make friends with a lot of people, even if there's a risk. Because if she does happen to go with her cycle again, that just means you can find a better friend and that you are a better friend, because friends don't just ditch each other or use each other.
