I don't think you should be hanging around with a guy that you don't know very well and for a short time. I know lots of these dudes. If you are seriously interested into modeling go to a company that is specialized in such things or at some people with a reputation/experience.
Be very careful when it comes to modeling. Not everything is what it looks like.
This is just my advice, you can do whatever you want, it's your own life/future.

My sisters friend got me a 'gig' doing a catalog modelling session with a bunch of other kids and teens over the summer. It was really good fun. Because I'm under 18 (and I see you aren't) my mum had to sign a whole bunch of stuff. I'm assuming you have too, because if you haven't you might get ripped off or taken advantage of in other ways.

Personally I'd do it again, it was kind of an ego boost plus I got a free pair of skinnies out of it as well as pay :P

I think it would be fun to try but I've never done anything like that before

I'd love to (and it seems like EVERYONE in my school is a model except me. I mean they're on magazine covers and shit) but I'm not pretty enough, so no modeling for me. Oh well.

Yeah, it seems like all the companys are ripoffs though....

They all want money for "lessons" and stuff. I don't have money for that stuff, plus my Mom would never let me.

I goto this guy bcuz he seems nice and I can do it without my Mom gettting in the middle of it. I mean he does push me a little and get me to do stuff thats not totaly comfortable, but I think thats kind of what modeling is all about!!

Errr... well it rather depends on what's going on. I did some underwear and swimwear in my shoot, but this is in a room with several adults including my mum (and some other kids), and not just a photographer. If it was just me and a photographer or something I would not have done it because it would make me feel very nervous in case the guy was going to take advantage somehow.

Um, no it's not. Honey, this is your body we're talking about here and if this man is pressuring you to expose it in ways that you're uncomfortable with, then ditch him. Think of it this way: Amanda Todd was slut-shamed because (among other things) she had a topless pic of her on the internet. She was pressured by a pedophile into doing this. I am not at all saying that your story will end that way, but it does have a similar beginning. Establish your boundaries, because I'd hate to see you get hurt.

He does what?! When you are modeling YOU are the boss. If you don't like something just tell him about it. If he does nothing about it, quit, it's not worth your time/energy!
I've made several photo sessions and I always say what bothers me. Don't let anyone manipulate you! Learn to stand for yourself, because you're gonna be satisfied later in life.
Modeling is something you do because you like it, you feel alive and happy in front of the cameras, nobody should entirely tell you what to do. Most of it depends on you.

yeah and i just looked her up on google and she is AMAZING !!!!! i wish i was that pretty and could do that!

and also one of the pics was a valentino runway shoot where she was wearing a see thru dress with no bra. her nipples were totally visible... at 17 i didnt even think that was legal!

sooooo, i dont think what my guy is asking me to do is all that bad. he pushes but hes not rude about it or anything. and i get a little braver every time! if my mom was there or some other adult i would be way to nervous about acting sexy and i would be terrible!

Speaking of legal, I just noticed here (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showpost.php?p=2009559&postcount=4) that you are actually 16 - so what you are doing is without the required parental consent, and your photographer is breaking the law. At your age can't have legally consented to this in your own right, and you said your mum didn't know about this. This also means you have no legal rights over any photos, and you'd be lucky to see any money or have any say in how they are used if he plays dirty.

I think you are in a really dodgy position here, especially if the guy is pushing you towards more nude / sexy stuff.
