Is the post count turned off in the forum "introductions" or is it a bug?

Yes, it is turned off.

It is, otherwise people would be able to spam the section with one word answers to raise their post count. This is the case for the Arcade forum, as well.

In the VT Arcade, certain Member Diaries, and the Introduction Section, your post count does not go up. This is to prevent a member from spamming to 100 posts, and abusing the PM system. It is once again done for the safety of everyone here.
