Does the chat room work on iPhones?

From what I've gathered it doesn't work on any phones.

No, it does not. The Chat Room runs on Java, and we're not going to be paying $35 USD extra so that a non profit help site can have a mobile chatroom.
However, you can access the forums with your iPhone, quite nicely, using the Tapatalk app.

They could, but it's about a 30 dollar extra fee, if I remember correctly.

Yes, that would cost us staff some money which we are not willing to do at this time.

Also, for next time, you can post in the VT Chat section of the forum and you might get some more related answers. :)

Because I don't wanna start a new thread and I think I'm allowed to do this here but do the emotions on the iPhones emoji keyboard work on this website.

It's special character sets, only other iPhones can see it if you use them in a thread. Actually, depending on the way vBulletin works it may not even actually publish them into the thread.

It would most likely come up as an unrecognized character, one of the Rectangles that you see when a computer or site can't recognize it.
