You're only 13. :P Maturity is something that is gained as you get older. Some get it earlier than others and some later than others. Just enjoy being a kid. :D

Lol I'm 16 and I still find myself annoying at times- I've even gone so far as to ask friends if I'm immature b/c I was afraid I was getting on everyone's nerves. Don't worry, you'll grow out of it. Especially since you're aware of it and make a conscious effort towards improving :daisy:

Cool! A lighter topic in puberty! :D
Yeah, you definately will, but you gotta make an effort and take examples of good role-models. I look up to my coaches, my mom, and my music teacher. Growing maturity and defining who you are is really tough. There's different places to grow, like me being a musician, I have to develop the maturity to interpret and play music in my own way without going over the bounderies of the era it was created. Then there's your own maturity...bah...just so confusing...
But yeah, look up to good role-models around you and that will help you be more mature. The thing is that you have to try at that and not just let it come to you, since there are people I know that are 25+ and are still really immature.
I think I confused more than I helped

I am very immature, and for that reason, I am not very popular. If i was more mature, I know I would have a better reputation. And now, I am stuck with the reputation of being the wierd, immature, idiotic kid I once was. I have definetly become more mature, and I think you will too.

Well maturity is something that isn't really tangilbe, thus so it is hard to measure.
I mean, you got two main factors, your age and your enviroment.
Though, from a more general standpoint I'd just say that if you go as far to purposely make other people mad, don't do it.
Though you're only 13, so that's pretty much common place and is probably actually needed for other kids to pick on others as it does teach one how to ignore people.
Regardless of all that, you're find. Don't queston your maturity, and though I won't win any alcolades for this, you are only 13.

Dude, in ten to twenty years you'll be wishing you had a chance to be more immature. Remember, You're only young once, you can be immature forever. It's a gift, not a curse.

dont wish that injoy that immaturaity. You only get to be kid 7 years (from age 5) then only 6 years of being a teen but like 40-60 years of being an adult. Dont rush it it will come naturally when you mature. If you do it to early you'll regret it and the worse part unlike some thing you cant be a kid more then once.

Just deal with it. I'm more mature than most high school boys and I much prefer the college crowd, but I have to learn in the same class as the others. Just be happy you fit in pretty well.

I'm not 100% sure this is right, but it might even have to do with hormones, as you learn certain things, you may want to take them less seriously, as a way of kind of escaping the world. Being immature about something is kind of like turning a serious subject into a comedic one. Certain immaturity can be bad (in other words, doing certain things b/c you think its funny when it could really be hurtful to others), but otherwise, have fun while you're still young. You're only young twice (:P), so just keep on keeping on. Have fun, but just be aware of when you're being immature. I know that around teachers and adults (with the exception of my parents) I'm mature. But around my friends and my parents I act really immature, and when my friends act immature, I join in on the fun, although sometimes I know when they're going too far, and I get them to stop being idiots, but still, immaturity is basically part of life, part of growing up. You have to deal with it, just don't act like an idiot around your teachers, and don't be an idiot like my friend and be immature in front of a cop (by being immature in front of a cop, I mean giving a cop the finger when he's staring right at you). Being immature is perfectly normal! :D And not being able to control it is also perfectly normal! :D
