Tips needed to get to know a girl (not date yet)

First, the setting for this problemo,
I'm 16, a Junior in high school, and I've liked this girl for a bit now. I've been a bit attracted to her for some time now, but I only realized I really liked her after homecoming. I asked her to dance, and we were grinding :yeah: for a whole song. Since then, (4 days ago) I've wanted to find out more about her. We've been in school together since about 3rd grade, but I'm not around her a lot. I'm a good-looking guy, very into activity, got a big group of friends, and becoming less shy as the years go on. I know she has a talent for designing clothes, does swimming at the school, but that's about it.
SO,
What are some good tips to get to know her a bit more? I have three classes and lunch with her, but the classes don't offer too much opportunity to talk, they're all very academic. Should I start out by making small talk, eat with her at lunch, or what? I'm also into fashion, so I guess I could wear some of my really nice clothes and shoes in order to get myself on her radar.
If some of you have any tips as to how to approach this situation, it would be great help,

Just b natueal. Talk to her like u have no adgenda. Look at somethg she's wearingl ask he rabt her activitties, what she's doing 4 th weekend.
Mention like "xxxxx is reallly kewl! What do u think...???"

Since you both have something in common with fashion, just talk to her about that. Do it at lunch or maybe before or after school. Maybe you two can go shopping and talk about it more there. Then you'll have more opportunity to talk to her about other interests too.

I would definitely try to talk to her at lunch.. If you guys went to homecoming together them you should be fine, but if your worried it might be awkward, i usually just use the excuse "im sitting here cuz i dont want to sit next to any of these other weridos, haha"

If fashion is a common interest you should use that as a convo starter, and then see where it leads.. Im sure if you guys went to homecoming together youre already on her radar, but i know i dress i little better on the days i see my crush :)~
