Gym Changerooms?

Hey guys,

I recently joined a nice Gym that opened up in my Home town. The change rooms separate men and women, but like highschool, the women's changeroom isn't really private. In HS we have a small area for girls to change in. Here it's a huge room where pre-teens to old ladies are all naked.

How do you guys feel when being totally naked with a bunch of other girls? It it just me who feels kinda awkward?

Everyone has the same parts and minds their own business so why would it be awkward.

I don't go to a gym so I really can't say but I have no problem changing in H.S. gym class. I change in front of mom and my cousins all the time but it may be a little different I guess if I had to change in front of people that I don't know.

it can be awkward if the change room is really full and you need more personal space. I've got used to it so it doesn't bother me anymore.

The gym I joined when I moved its practically the same layout but I've not seen anyone over 35 there yet so no worrys

Nope, it's not just you :) I know there's no real reason to feel awkward, but I definitely don't feel comfortable being totally naked with other girls, even most of the girls I actually know, let alone strangers. That's just the way I am at the moment, I guess.

I'm hugely insecure about my body, so I find it awkward too. That's why I change as quickly as I can, or in a stall.

I have zero problems in the gym my little cousin which is 13 she climbed into the tall locker once and changed lol it was kind of funny

if im in a public changing room, i dont second think it.
everyone else in there is naked so it doesnt bother me abit

if you have problem change in the stalls so you have privacy

you actually draw more attention to yourself if you try to hide or use a stall...I've been using school or gym lockers for years and it has never bothered me.....the gym my mom and I go to it is one big room for the lockers and one big room for the showers/toilets

The gym I go to is the same pretty open and while most of the girls in there are between 12 and maybe mid 30s I must admit i do look around discretely though and I don't mind if other girls check me out

I feel exactly the same in those situations - meaning: Clothes on or off - doesn't matter

you have a choice if it bothers you to that extent i would just change at home for the gym and wait till you get home to shower unless they have some odd rule you have to shower before leaving the gym

No problemo for me, we all have boobs and our lady parts, why should i feel weird about seeing a younger or older naked lady?

I was a little embarrassed about that first times but after a while I get used to it and now I enjoy watching other girls of the same age or older to view the differences with me! :)

I have a gym membership why do you have to be naked I always just put my sweats on over my workout clothes and shower at home

I'm kinda like you, mom has let me go to the spa a few times with her and I'm careful when I undress but I am getting over it. I was suprised how many older women have brazilians. Mom says that I can get one when I turn 18 but the women in there really don't care about you. I think they just admire a younger girl. Reminding them of themselves when they were younger.

I dont go to a gym but at school my group that I hang out with in gym all change in the bathroom together instead of the locker room.
