Well, basically I have a really outdated laptop I got about 4 years back. And for some odd reason, it refuses to download the latest java thing. I really wanna chat and meet new people, but sadly I really don't get to. And I think it's against the rules to make a random thread asking if anyone want to talk with me! I kinda would like to meet new people, so is there anywhere I could go besides chat to find people to start talking to?

You can use the VM system (Visitor Messaging)......

Yeah, but I don't wanna just go onto some random person's profile. Isn't that sorta creeping on someone?

Nope, basically everybody uses it. You have to start a conversation one way or another, eh? You also have enough posts to use private messaging -- so you could also use that.

Does it not come up with 'run this time' because usually if I don't update, I can click that and it'll work in chat.

No, when I go into the chat room, it say's "You need to update your Java" And it gives a link

Click that link. It is probably a download link to where you can install the most recent version of Java.

What browser do you use?
Java is a diva with my computer, too, but mine's a midrange laptop that's not even a year old.

I use Internet Explorer. And it say's it downloads it, but it still won't work. Man, I hate technology sometimes -_-
