Braids!

I really need to know... But what is basically the shortest length you need to braid hair? Right now its 7"... Im going for 11-12" and that should be happening by May-ish time. But for now Im curious though.

I think shoulder length hair for a french braid (not sure if you're into them) or a messy braid but I think around 8-10" should be enough! It depends on what sort of braid you want though :)

Im not really sure of the types haha. Id just do a basic one, 3 parts... You interweave them and just tie it off at the bottom with a elastic.

Id be with 10-12" hair at the most now and would a simple braid like such work?
