So, I really don't know what to do. I like this girl, and she knows and all but I don't know if she likes me. She got out of a relationship like 3 weeks ago. I just don't want to put effort into something when all they will do is just say no. What should I do?

If she knows you like her there's not much more you can do. She might not want to go straight into a relationship shortly after ending one, so maybe she does like you but doesn't want a relationship yet? In my experience when I had told a girl I liked them and they were in a relationship I got basically played until the relationship was over, was treated like a second boyfriend and then absolutely nothing when the relationship was finished. Try and leave her to think for a bit without bringing the subject of a relationship up but still talk as friends.

If she doesn't bring the matter up to you within a few weeks then maybe ask her out somewhere see where that leads. Also try and be a friend as it could be a difficult time for her so try and help her out as much as you can.

Ive just come out a relationship myself and i know that there is no way i want to jump straight into another one.

I think if you tell her you like her now she could get with you for the sake of saying shes moved on, which would be her lying to herself.

I think the best thing for you to do is be there for her as a friend, let her know she can confide in you. Dont rush anything, if you really like her you;ll respect that shes going through a hard time right now.

Just see how things process and in time. You could even ask her if she wants to go out with you sometime as friends and see how you guys get on :)
