Are there a lot of bi guys in public school?

I'm switching to public school and am wondering if there's a lot of bi guys like me?

At my school there aren't any but I know that there are a couple of gays

At my school there wasn't one person openly gay out of about 800 people. Saying that my school was pretty homophobic. I know some of my friends from other schools say there are a fair few gay guys at their school. I think it depends on the area and how gay friendly the school is.

It really depend on th country and area you live around so don't let the numbers at our schools discourage you :)

One day I looked around my class and looked to see if there are a consist amount of gay guys n classes i realized in each class of about 30 theres me and usually 2 very flamboyant guys where i can almost positively say they are gay. So at least 3 "gay" guys in each class. And i'm 99% sure all these guys are gay ive had suspiscion of others but the ones i counted i can say with the utmost confidence that there gay im not sure about bi.

At least at mine theres a few that i know of.
But there can be more but there just to afraid of being themselves.
Sadly thats what happen, someone can be homosexual, bisexual etc and you don't even know it because they are afraid to say they are because of what might happen or what people will think.

About as many as there are anywhere else.

To the extent of my knowledge, although there are some statistics as to how many gay people there might be in any given class dependent on size, there is no real estimate on bisexuals.

Check around a school's Gay Straight Alliance if you are really interested. Some might be a part of the club, if the school has one.

NO. I think I might be the only bi guy at my school actually. A lot of bi GIRLS though, I know of bi girls a huge group, that always hang out with each other.

Unfortunately, not really. You are going to a Missouri school, and I have no reason to think it's any different from my North Carolina school. Non-straight guys are few and far between. Of course there's plenty who hide themselves because they are afraid of being rejected. I know three other out gay guys. I haven't met any bi ones yet.

It's true that most of the "bi" action seems to be going on with girls. Which is true, I know at least 10 bi girls. Of course there's the matter of whether or not they are just bicurioius or have real attractions for both sexes, but in general, girls are more likely to be open about this kind of stuff. Maybe it's the fact that guys have to be more afraid of losing a "tough" image, or facing rejection because their friends and family have too much faith in the role they must play as a male.

Either way, hopefully you'll find a few guys to your liking- there's always some scattered around these desperate anti-gay southern states. At least you can try to make friends with some of them and comfort them a little bit.

I don't think that there will be more, or less for that matter, of people of any sexuality dependant on something like that. However, from my knowledge, public schools would be a lot more accepting and open when it comes to this and a range of other things, meaning that there would be more "out" guys.

theres a lot of bi guys at my school. But its a alternative type of school, so thats probably why.

I think there is, but I don't think very many of them are open about it because they would probably be insulted or ridiculed by other students, it's sad but true.

Just try to be proud of yourself, and ignore anybody who talks shit to you, they're just ignorant dickheads.

You're definitely not alone though, there a lot of bi/curious guys, they are just in the closet about it, or scared to admit it.

I live in wilmington north Carolina and when I was going to school there were decent amount of gay/bi guys there. But in all honesty all I can say is that it depends on the area you live in. I'm sure there are some some people that havent came out but just some areas are more accepting than others.

I live in a pretty closed out town so there isnt much diversity. Sure, there are some gay guys here and there but not that many. Im bisexual but i may be one of the only ones. I dont really know for sure.

i live in a small town and i think we have sum but nobody really talks about being gay or bi because i guess they are afraid sumone will make fun of them. i like everyone and dont care what anyone is but sum kids are still weird about gay stuff around here. hope the kids are cool at your new school

C'mon the chances are highly likely that they're gay if they are extremely flamboyant. I'm not talking about having a few "feminine" or "flamboyant" actions or phrases here and there but over the top flamboyant almsot ALL of the time they are gay

I'm not syaing that they are gay because of flamboyant actions, but most of the time you can infer somone is gay based on how flamboyant their actions are. Lisp and fixing their hair is not really flamboyant at all.

We really have to go over this? Like you don't know what a stereotypical gay guy is? Well to start off one flamboyant guy hanging out with other very flamboyant guys is a sign that they might be gay. Also the way they walk, hand motions, eye motions, and topics they talk about can all be contributing factors in trying to find out whether someone is gay or not.
