Yes, seems like half the posts are on happy trails, but I feel that it's really uncommon to have a happy trail, for instance....I take the bus home most days from school (the metro, not a school bus) and the other day we (the like 6 guys who rode it that day) were doing that thing where you folk your nipple and wait for it to get hard....it didn't work for me! So I lifted up my shirt to try again on my bare nipple and a sophmore sitting across from me shouts "holy shit dude! I'm a sophmore and I don't even have a happy trail yet!" Then there was a ton of commotion and I asked him if he had any friends who had happy trails, he said he on,y had about 5....

So are happy trails just uncommon? Eerrrrr what....

I have a happy trail. A lot of guys at my school have them. I love mine. I'm 15 and really hairy so I'm not sure about you.

I'm 14 and have one yet. :D. Some people are just naturally more hairy than other. ;)

Really depends on the person. Some people just aren't that naturally hairy. For example, I'm 16 and I have tons of pubic hair and armpit hair as well as facial hair which I have to shave regularly. But I still haven't got a happy trail.

None here (but I'm not at all hairy) but my best friend has but he's also got a bit of chest hair too. Seems to be more common the older the guy from what I've seen in changing rooms / nudist settings.

This all depends on how old you are, but from what I have seen almost every guy will develop some sort of happy trail at some point. I have one and all of my friends have one, so its definitely not uncommon. However, a lot of guys will trim or shave it so that it may not appear like they have one

I'm 18 and I'm not all that much of a hairy guy. But I have a nice happy trail and I love it.

I'd say it's a common thing. Not all guys have them, though. Everybody is different. Some men are naturally smooth and have little body hair, some men have a moderate amount of body hair, and some men are extremely hairy. It just depends.

Also, some guys are late bloomers and don't get their body hair until later and some guys are early bloomers and get their body hair early. It just depends.

Personally, I'd say I am moderately hairy. I don't a lot of chest hair, but I do have a happy trail and some more chest hair at the bottom of my chest.

Like a lot of other things in puberty the happy trail is something that not everyone gets. I do have one, but I'm a very hairy person in general so it's unsurprising. In contrast there's some people that don't get any chest hair, leg hair, even pubes in some cases - so it all depends really.

Its common to have one, but it depends on the persons body if and when they get one.

I have one, and seen other guys in the locker room with one. It just depends on the person. Some people are more hairy than others.

Actually it's quite common where i come from. My basketball team and i have head lengthy conversations about it. We all think they're great. and they say mine's the best. perfect amount of hair to be unnoticed yet still manly. Yes, yes, thank you i know, be jealous.

We tend to call them snail trails here in Britain, but they're fairly common on anybody older than fifteen. To not have one at sixteen is quite a rarity.

Ew we really don't call them that round my way. Snail trails sounds like you slimed yourself so I wonder if that's referring to 'something else' and got confused. Happy trail sounds like 'follow this trail to the happy place' ;-)

Nope! They're certainly called snail trails here in Wales anyway! Never even heard the term happily trail outside of VT.

I spent the night at a friends house and everyone seems to be quite amazed at how full it is, ive only met one other freshman with a happy trail, everyone else seems to be pretty bare.

I have a faint one that's just starting to grow in. Most of the guys in my grade either have one, are just getting one or shave it off (you know, cool kids like it that way)
To ot have one is kind of weird, since most people get them at some point (mainly after 15/16)

They are not uncommon. Some people are more hairy than other people and some guys just don't like the way Happy Trails look and shave them!

Happy trails are common through certainly not universal. Like any androgenic hair how much make you have there is a combination of genetics which determine how much hair you will have when fully developed as well as how far through puberty you are.
