Is waxing worth it?

Hey girls! I'm thinking about waxing my pubes, but I'm a bit afraid, does it hurt a lot like people say? Is it really worth?

I usually shave and trim my pubes but the shaving with a razor irritates a lot my skin :/

The level of pain is different for everybody, for example, when I first waxed I didn't feel anything at all, but the second time it hurt. The pain lats for seconds, usually, and if your skin gets red or few sores don't panic, they will go away after some hours ( you need to avoid direct sunlight, water, oils... ) But if they won't fade away, go visit a doctor or go get help from an elder.
I highly recommend you to go to a salon if it is your first time, or at someone with experience, and use hot wax. Be brave :D

A mom lets a 15 year old wax! REALLY!. My mom does it and said when I turned 18 she would take to the spa and get my first. Not ready for it yet but yeah I think I might like to try it. She says never try to wax yourself, the wax may not be hot enough and if you chicken out, it can stay on and cause burns or rash, and if it cools, you will have trouble getting it off.
