I have recently been fooling around with a razor blade and BOOM. Scars! I didn't know the razor was THAT sharp, I started to bleed. After some minutes (10-15) the bleeding stopped and I cleaned myself, but they are still visible. They are not deep, I barely scratched the razor against my skin. I am so scared...will they leave scars? How can I get rid of them?? I just cannot think myself with scars on my arm, I'd rather die than having them!

Upon further consideration, I think these images are not needed. They can be a serious trigger to people here, and I think your description is enough. -Steven

It looks like you got in a fight with a really pissed off rose-bush :P But I've heard that vitamin e oil can improve your scar appearance (just test it first to make sure it doesn't irritate your skin). Otherwise you could try this shit (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001AJ4L1E/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=thetruaboscat-20&linkCode=as2&camp=217145&creative=399369&creativeASIN=B001AJ4L1E). But to be honest, they look pretty shallow, and so they are unlikely to scar. In the meantime, just keep them out of the sun til they heal.

I wouldn't put anything on them until you're sure their closed/scabbed over, you don't want them to get irritated. Then do not pull off the scabs, it will make the scaring worse. Id' say you'd only get very light/white/thin scars, IF you were to get some, but I don't think you will. You can rub cocoa butter into it once or twice a day, it'll help heaps! While they're healing, don't keep them covered up from air, it'll help them close so you can heal faster. If they're very shallow, like cat scratches give or take, I'd say they'd take a week, more or less, to heal.

I recommend not playing around with a razor blade next time.

They probably won't scar. Just take good care of the wounds until they heal (infection is your worst enemy here, keep them VERY CLEAN) and you should be fine :)
