first physical today. what to excpet

so yes you may be wondering "your first physical? who the **** are you?" well i am 14 and never have had a physical and i am nervous. to be specific it is a sports physical(if it makes any difference). my school needs it so i can be on the wrestling team. so i was wondering what will happen. will the doctor need to see my penis and stuff like that.

please respond asap.

Yea the doctor makes you drop your boxers and moves them around a little they'll be down for 30 seconds at most.

I did a physical for my Royal Navy application, I presume it will be roughly the same it's just to check general health and fitness. All they did was check over my body, ask me to do a few simple exercises like push ups, then walk in a straight line. They do check penis and stuff but its no big deal, it's like a minute at the most.

A physical exam is no big deal. Your blood pressure and pulse will be taken. The doctor will use his stethoscope and listen to your heart and breathing. Like others have said; he will briefly examine your scrotum and penis and might ask you a question or two.... Many doctors will also have you lie down on your back and check your abdomen. Many teens are constipated and it's easier for him to probe your bowels that way as opposed to "the other"....

They'll check things like blood pressure, breathing, and just check for hernias and what not. Not too bad. I'd request a female doctor though.

well, came back from it a while ago, but thanks for everything you guys said. took the nervoisness down a lot. the doctor even asked my mom to leave the room for the hernias part

unfortunetly not, because i had already left the clinic before you posted. just wasn't home. was @ the airport picking up my dad. i had this huge black dude touching around my penis.(no prison pun intended)

Really no big deal man. The only uncomfortable thing they do is check you for hernia, which entails feeling your balls while you cough. I had extreme apprehension before my first physical because of this, but it's really not that big of a deal! You'll feel so relieved after it I suppose.
