I wasn't sure where to post this but here goes-
I have had many of my things published before in books, anthologies, online, in public and in magazines. I have been working on a novel about a boy that is the victim of a hit and run and suffers a type of amnesia named Retrograde Amnesia. This type of amnesia is where you forget everything personal before the on set of the amnesia, in this case- before the hit and run. In his case, he has forgotten five years of his life, personal memories etc, but nothing such as general knowledge etc. Retrograde amnesia varies dramatically in different people.
The story generally focus's on trying to piece his memories back together. What I'd really like to know is-
What memories will you always remember as being important or special to you, no matter how big or insignificant/ What are the type of personal things that you'd HATE to forget?
I have surveyed different people, spanning different ages, as the main person in the story is a teenager, I would like to focus more on this particular age group and gain a lot of different perspectives.
Thanks for any input. And if the book does get published in the future, leave your full name and I will be sure to mention all the people that have helped me in the making of the book in the acknowledgements section, if you prefer to be anonymous with your input, that is fine too :) thanks!
