I recently got a new phone while on a contract (Phone wasn't from a contract upgrade/ renewal) but my new HTC One S only accepts micro sims and my old sim card with the contract minutes/texts/ phone number is a old standard sim card.
So what do i do to get a new one that will fit as at the moment i dont have a phone i can use except for an expensive pocket mirror :P

Talk to your provider. They should be able to provide a means of transferring all of your minutes and stuff onto a new micro-sim.

Same happened when i got my One x. I just went to my provider and asked for a new card with the same phone number as my old sim card, then i copied all my contacts and stuff via Bluetooth from my old phone to my new. They also gave gave me the option of cutting my current sim card, making it a micro sim card, but at my own risk.

This. Also, 99% of the time they won't charge you for a new one either.
