Meeting new friends/possible boyfriend?

So! I have officially been single for 3 months now (still kinda getting over my ex) and I think I'm ready to get back out there :yeah: I'm actually going to another school's homecoming with my friend this weekend. She doesn't know many people going, and I of course will know no one lol But! I'm really excited to meet new people. Does anyone have any advice on how to meet people at this dance? Maybe flirt with a guy? I've pretty much forgotten since I was with my ex for so long. If I made friends and/or a boyfriend from this school it would be a huge plus because I'm actually in this school district, but I go to school in the next town over. Well, thats it. Advice please! :wub:

Honestly, I don't think flirting with anyone ever ends well. It can give you a bad reputation and give people a false idea of who you really are and if you aren't a natural flirt it can come off even worse.

Be yourself is honestly the best advice, just chat to friends of your friend that you are going with and then branch it out to friends of friends ect. Honestly you can't go with a game-plan to a dance, It simply doesn't work. You'll find an opening to chat with some people and take it. You'll do whats right naturally at the time.
