I was just wondering if it is ok to watch porn. I am a christian and I was wondering if it was very bad to watch it. I dont watch it excessively, only on a rare occasion.

I think that there is a lot to be learned from porn. I personally don't see anything wrong with watching it. It's like going to the movies; it's for your entertainment. You have your beliefs and practices ingrained in you from childhood. You life is built around input from your parents, teachers, friends, priests, etc. When you go to a movie and are entertained....nothing changes with your beliefs. You are still the same person after you exit the theater. Same with porn. Be entertained but don't let it influence that which makes you a complete person.

Porn can be a real turn on when masturbating or even when you're with someone else. I've watched porn with gfs and had amazing foreplay / sex as we were both so turned on by it. As long as it remains for your enjoyment, and doesn't impact other parts of your life then it's perfectly fine to watch.

Honestly, if you were looking for a Christian point of view, I believe that it is wrong. Putting those thoughts in your head make it wrong. Jesus said that thinking about someone sexually was considered wrong, and that's the point of porn right? That being said, I don't want to discourage you, because if you don't think it's wrong, then go for it. There is so much that has to be interpreted, and there is a lot you have to figure out for yourself. Also, you have to know your limits. Things like that easily become an addiction.
