Oh; it's not weird at all...IMHO. I only do it myself; I am careful and take it slow....one finger first...then two.....

TBH this sounds like the sort of old wives tale spread by homophobes, I've certainly not picked up on this when researching into anal sex. I assure you from personal experience that even after regularly having more than a finger up there, everything continues to work just fine as normal. I'm confident that if you look into it you'll find its only people who are into 'fisting' (i.e. taking it to an absolute extreme) that might have problems like that.
