Shipwrecked

I’m sent into this
world for a purpose,
but I can’t grasp it
into my mind yet

I look around to see
people pass by who
ignores me because
they can’t help me

This world is so big,
and I’m so small,
this tree is so thick,
and this paper is so thin

Where am I suppose
to start, and where
am I suppose to end,
if I do end

Help me, for I am
lost, and I need
redirection from
the path that I’m on

Don’t leave me, please,
come back . . .
Will you? Come help me?
I’m stranded!
