I talked about it a lot with my friends and we couldnt agree.
what is the age difference in ages 13-19 that you would consider "OK"?
example: if a girl who is 15 years old dates a boy who is 18 does it look too bad?
and what if the girl is 2 years older than the boy?
just would like to know what you guys think :)

For dating I'd say 4 years max. It's different once you get to college though.

what is the age difference in ages 13-19 that you would consider "OK"? If you date somebody more than 2 years older/younger, then that is creepy.
example: if a girl who is 15 years old dates a boy who is 18 does it look too bad? Yes that is creepy and they cannot do anything since she is a minor.
and what if the girl is 2 years older than the boy? This is ok, within 2 years is ok.

I'm 15, I would date someone who is 15-17. 18 feels like too much of a maturity gap for me. I wouldn't date younger.

Most ill date younger is 2 years and that's rare, and for older 2-3 years but usually like to stick to my age

If everyone is legal, the difference depends on maturity.

No, like a 13 year old dating a 17 year old is wrong, you can say maturity levels are what matter all you want but a mature 17 year old wouldn't be dating a 13 year old

I've been with a girl 5 years older, but we didn't date for very long. I think 2-3 years is about the limit when you're in your teens.

I think no one under 16 should date someone over 18 personally

I'd say three years.. Unless its like 13 and 16. Why would you wanna date a girl in middle school.

In those years, you can't really control emotion much at all. So I think that in those ages you can be in a relationship with whoever you want to in that range. It'd probably be a more proper relationship if the boyfriend/girlfriend was within a 2-3 year age difference. Like 15 could go out with an 18 year old or a 13 year old. Kids younger than 13 should probably stay within their own age group though because kids these days are very corrupting and, well, not as smart as they should be.

half your age plus seven is a pretty good rule to go by. :) then there isn't to big a gap between you.

my rule of normalcy is pretty much 2 years from your age, but that can change depending on the maturity of the younger person. I'm a freshman going to a 6-12 grade school, and someone my age dating a 7th grader wold just be so weird because theres a huge maturity gap and i dont know any 7th graders with that mturity. However i know some freshman both mentally and sexually mature enough to date seniors, so theres a wide range. Overall, anyone dating out of grade is a source of coversation in my school

For me, I avoid dating anyone younger than me. I was with someone a year younger for a while and it was just a constant struggle. Even with just a year's difference, our maturity level was so off balance.
I'll date anyone that is up to 3 years older than me. I'd rather be the young and naive one in the relationship. :p
In general, 2 years. But it all depends on maturity levels and all that. If you're 16 and you want to date a 14 year old who hops around from boy to boy, then you're in trouble.

Ive dated an 18 yr boy when I was 15 and it kind of freaked out his sis and her immature friends but not really anyone else, because the people who cared about me knew I was mature and not a pushover. Any other circumstances and I think it would become BAA-AAD.

I'm actually insecure about this because I'm 21 and my girlfriend is 24. It's hard sometimes because she always says how she wishes I was the older one. :(
