My goes absolutely mental when i go out on my bike

My dad brought me a waterproof cycling jacked that is reflective the other dya and now each time i go out with just my jersey (white with red, yellwo and orange stripes) my mum makes me put the jacket on. IT IS STEAMING HOT WITH THE JACKET ON!!!!!!. I think i should be a reflective jersey to make her happy but they're like £40 and im saving up for a bike What do you think i sould do??????

I think you should calmly explain to your parents that you appreciate and like the jacket but that you are much to hot when you wear it right now, so it does not make sense that you have to wear it every time you go out. Maybe tell them though that you promise to wear it when it gets wet and cold.
